Double Moon

The Double Moon collection is inspired by the rare astronomical phenomenon in which Earth temporarily gains a second natural satellite — an event poetically described as a “double moon.” This phenomenon became the starting point for a lighting collection in which two glass spheres evoke celestial bodies, while reflections, gradients, and soft highlights convey the mysterious atmosphere of space. The collection’s key features are concealed light sources, mirrored gradient glass, and the possibility of installing the luminaires vertically or horizontally.

Two LED light sources are integrated into the metal base, one at the top and one at the bottom. Both are concealed behind matte diffusers, creating soft and comfortable illumination while preserving the clean and minimal silhouette of the luminaire.

The glass spheres feature a mirrored gradient finish. Light reflects from their surfaces and creates expressive patterns on the surrounding wall, while subtle highlights and reflections appear across the glass itself. As a result, the lighting effect extends beyond the luminaire and becomes part of the surrounding space.

The relatively high luminous output expands the functional possibilities of Double Moon. The luminaires can be used beside a bed or a desk, as well as for additional decorative and functional lighting in different areas of an interior.

The models can be installed both vertically and horizontally, allowing different compositions and adapting easily to the architecture of a space. Their concise geometry makes the collection suitable for a wide range of interior styles. The luminaires are available in three finishes: dark nickel, brass, and black.

During the development process, particular attention was paid to the interaction between light and glass. Different types of glass and finishes were tested to achieve expressive reflections on the wall. A mirrored gradient coating proved to be the most effective solution, reflecting the light while maintaining the visual depth of the glass elements.
