The Teorema collection was developed around the idea of “minimalism to the maximum”: an extremely simple form becomes the basis for a distinctive lighting effect. The luminaire consists of a modified metal tube, while its main decorative element is not the physical object itself but a perfect circle of light projected onto the wall, created by a glass lens concealed at the back of the structure. Light therefore becomes an integral part of the design.
Despite its extremely concise appearance, Teorema provides the full functionality expected from a wall luminaire and delivers a substantial luminous output. Its optical system was engineered to combine a compact construction with expressive yet practical illumination.
The glass lens is positioned behind the body and shapes the light into a defined circle on the wall. The light source and optical components remain almost invisible to the viewer, creating the impression that the luminous graphic exists independently from the physical object.
The dimensions of the lens determine the minimum width of the body, so particular attention was given to making the luminaire appear visually slimmer. The metal structure was given smooth rounded edges that soften its volume and make the object appear more refined.
Glossy finishes enhance this effect. Reflections visually blur the boundaries of the form and reduce the perceived mass of the metal body while preserving a strong and coherent silhouette.
Teorema reduces lighting design to a few essential elements — form, optics, and light. The result is a functional wall luminaire transformed into a minimalist object in which light itself becomes the principal decorative material.
