Sound Wave
The Sound Wave collection transforms music into a physical object. Its inspiration comes from Claude Debussy’s “Prelude No. 3, The Wind on the Plain.” Using specialized software, the musical composition was converted into a graphic representation of a sound wave, which became the basis for the silhouette of the luminaire. The form was then refined and adapted to lighting requirements and mass production. As a result, a favorite melody can not only be heard but also seen and experienced as a tangible object.
The luminaire is based on a multi-layer construction. First, matte white glass is placed over the metal structure containing the light source, and then a decorative colored glass element is positioned above it. This solution eliminates visible screws and additional fasteners, preserving a clean and minimal silhouette.
The decorative glass elements are available in four colors: blue, gold, black, and grey. Combined with the matte white glass, they emphasize the distinctive wave-like geometry and the craftsmanship of glass production.
The luminaires use replaceable G9 lamps, allowing users to select the desired power and color temperature. The replaceable source also contributes to the longevity of the product, as the lamp can be changed independently of the luminaire itself.
The suspension height can be adjusted from 100 to 3000 mm. This wide range makes Sound Wave suitable both as an individual accent and for multi-level compositions above dining tables, in stairwells, or beside a bed as an alternative to a traditional wall lamp.
Special ceiling canopies with magnetic fittings were developed for the collection. Mounting screws are concealed inside the structure, reducing visual noise and supporting the overall minimalist design language.
Sound Wave brings together music, light, and the craftsmanship of glassmaking. The emotional experience of a musical composition is translated into a physical form that retains its practical function while becoming an expressive object within a contemporary interior.
